Free Repairs

The prices above include free repairs that can be carried out by our engineer on site, these include:

  • Replacement of faulty or damaged mains plug (BS1363)
  • Replacement of damaged or incorrectly rated fuses
  • Re-wiring of incorrect or lose connections in the mains plug
  • Repair to faulty cable grips in the mains plug
  • Minor repairs requiring less than ten minutes labour

Following on from any repair that we carry out we will re test the item to ensure that it is safe to use.

On completion of our portable appliance tests we will produce a PAT Certificate which lists each item that has been tested as well as the result of each test. During testing each item will be given a pass or fail sticker with an ID number for that item.

To make the testing process as smooth as possible for you, we are happy to carry out PAT Testing in or out of office hours including at weekends. Most of our customers prefer us to carry out portable appliance testing on their site, we do have a workshop for you to bring your items to however.

You will receive your PAT Certificate (normally within 24 hours) in the form of a PDF file. A paper copy can be posted to you if you prefer. We will keep a copy of your PAT certificate on file for 5 years - just in case you misplace yours, duplicates are free of charge.
